Figurative abstraction on canvas paintings

To some, figurative abstraction sounds like an oxymoron. Figurative art and abstract art are considered opposites, and have differing impacts on the viewer. Some are looking for a clearer animal motif to add to their surroundings, whilst others seek to be seduced by abstract art. This being said, figurative abstraction works with a motif and reduces it to become more abstract, and the results are stunning. Get lost in these handmade acrylic paintings, disguising their motifs in a plethora of creativity and technique. Every time you look at any one of these pieces, you see something different. One day a pale shade of blue will transport you to a secluded getaway, while on another a vibrant orange tinge will light the fire within you. Looking at these paintings becomes a spectacle to behold, giving you constant food for thought and inspiration. Embrace their allure and browse our collection at KunstLoft.

Sizes for all purposes

It is important to consider what size painting you wish to buy before ordering one. We house a wide variety of sizes in our catalogue, each serving a purpose in their own right. The choice may be a difficult one to make, but we recommend:

A 47x31inch painting to fill empty spaces above shelves or on otherwise blank walls

A 55x28inch painting to unravel its effect in a large room

A 59x20inch painting to hang over your chest of drawers or sofa in your living room

Whatever size you choose, a handcrafted acrylic painting from KunstLoft will always create an impact.

Variety in abstraction

Despite all coming under the ‘figurative abstraction’ label, the variety of subject matter used in these paintings makes for a diverse range of pieces on offer. The motifs under abstraction can derive from animals, the sky and the ocean, a city or nature. Abstract pieces can be seasonal, express different colour palettes and display different styles of painting. Regardless of which painting you choose from this selection, its impact will be limitless, because you get to choose what pulls you in. Our use of the highest quality materials also guarantees this long-lasting pleasure.
