Abstract or non-representational painting refers to various art movements that do not depict real nature, figures or objects. also other painting tools such as spatula or sponge)<\/li><li><strong>Painting surface<\/strong> &#8211; a small canvas is best, but you can also paint wonderfully with acrylic on paper or cardboard.<\/li><li><strong>Old shirt\/painting smock<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Optionally, you can also get the following in the artists&#8217; supplies:<\/p><ul><li>A <strong>painting plate<\/strong> to mix the colours (alternatively, an old plate or a wooden board).<\/li><li>a <strong>primer<\/strong> (such as artist&#8217;s primer or acrylic binder) if you want to prime the canvas (recommended)<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>By the way:<\/strong> You don&#8217;t need an easel for abstract acrylic painting.
